Children
We
live here in a small community with children, Elsie,
6 and Myra 1. We welcome families to stay here,
and we have made the yurts and surrounding outdoor
spaces suitable and safe for small children. We
do not change our prices during school holidays,
or charge children 5 and under for meals. The yurts
can accomodate 1 or 2 children, and we also have
a large tent and 'camping' yurt which can be put
up near the yurts to provide more space or privacy
for larger families or older children. We also have
a trampoline, swings and large children's swimming
pool which can be used by guests, under supervision
where necessary.

Both
yurts have their own kitchen areas with everything
needed for cooking, making it easier to prepare
food for children and babies. We can provide a babies
bath, children's bedding and a cot bed if you require.
A selection of toys, books or children's DVD's can
be placed in the yurt if you would like.
There
are many local
activities for children in the area.
We are located close to the Cabril reservoir, and
many other swimming places suitable for children.
The local Praia Fluvias are often shady and safe
for small children, with a cafe providing basic
meals, drinks and ice creams. We are a half hour
drive from Pria
das Rocas, a large waterpark. Our closest
towns, Pedrogão Grande and Sertã have
lovely parks and gardens. We can organise canoeing
and kayaking trips for families with older children

walk . In Coimbra, children will be
fascinated by the miniature buildings at Portugal
dos Pequenitos.

their beautiful property with my 2 year old daughter.
It was such a wonderful playground for my daughter
and me. From swimming in the reservoir to planting
in the garden to building scarecrows to yoga and
dancing on the deck, our time was nourishing and
